TEHRAN (Tasnim) The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry deplored Europes policy of appeasement towards the Israeli regime.

The International Criminal Courts arrest warrant for Israeli regime's officials reflects the widespread global outrage over genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, as well as an overwhelming demand to uphold International Law & end impunity for atrocity crimes against Palestinians, he said.
Yet, by appeasing Israeli regime, Europe is compromising its moral credibility and placing itself on the wrong side of a defining historical moment, the Iranian spokesman added.
It indeed dishonors the 'rule of law', betrays justice and re-enforces the impunity with all its lethal consequences for the innocent victims & the whole humanity, he said.
This is truly 'normalization of lawlessness' and 'banalization of atrocity', Baqaei stated.
Benjamin Netanyahu visited Hungary on his first trip to Europe since 2023 in defiance of the International Criminal Courts (ICC) arrest warrant against him for war crimes in Gaza.
Hungarys government announced its withdrawal from the ICC just before Prime Minister Viktor Orban welcomed his Israeli counterpart.
