PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of the European Political Community summit, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi, during which the sides signed a joint declaration on strategic dialogue.
Pashinyan welcomed Plenkovi's visit to Armenia and his participation in the 8th European Political Community summit. He noted that relations between the two countries are already at a high level of political dialogue and that the agreement marks their elevation to a strategic dialogue level.
The Armenian prime minister emphasized the significant potential for the development of bilateral relations and expressed confidence that they will continue to expand and deepen.
Andrej Plenkovi thanked for the warm reception and for hosting the summit, expressing confidence that the meeting would give new momentum to the advancement of multifaceted bilateral relations.
The sides discussed further development of Armenia-Croatia relations and exchanged views on various topics of regional significance.
On May 4, Yerevan hosted the 8th summit of the European Political Community, to be followed on May 5 by the first Armenia-European Union summit. Around 50 high-level delegations arrived in Armenia, including European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. French President Emmanuel Macron also arrived in Yerevan, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Armenia for the first time.
