SARAJEVO, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Bosnian international right-back Halid Sabanovic has signed a three-year contract with Angers Sporting Club de l'Ouest, the French Ligue 1 club announced on Wednesday.

Angers SCO celebrated the arrival of 22-year-old Sabanovic by posting a one-minute video on its official page, showing his arrival at the club's headquarters and the contract-signing ceremony.

Before joining the Ligue 1 club based in west France, Sabanovic played for FC Sarajevo, one of the two Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League clubs based in the capital city, and helped the club win the Bosnian National Cup in 2019.

Sabanovic has played 85 matches in all competitions, including 13 for the under-19 and -21 BiH National team.

"Angers SCO welcomes Halid and a full success under our colors," reads the welcoming post on the official site of the club, which finished 14th in the 20-team French top flight last season.
